Job Context

- Position: Quality Assurance Manager (QAM)

- Position Location: Project Head Quarter, Sylhet
Job Description / Responsibility
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct clinical monitoring visits in the assigned clinics as per guideline
- Review of 'clinical quality checklist'
- Find if there are any gaps and correct those
- Share the important findings with PD and Clinical QA Services Specialist - Review documentation of clinical meetings
- Follow-up of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) developed during QMS visit - Provide on the job orientation to relevant clinic staff if necessa
- Conduct QMS visits in the Assigned clinics as per Guideline:
- Conduct knowledge quiz
- Observe QMS process
- Review records of QMS
- Conduct exit interviews with the customers and take corrective action if required
- Prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for the clinic(s)
- Prepare and submit each monthly tour plan to the PD and Clinical QAS Specialist seven days before the end of current month based on annual plan.
- Submit Monthly Accomplishment Report to the PD and CQS Specialist within seven days of the following month.
- Upload the QMS scores in the database within seven days of visit
- Management:
- Assist the Project Director in development, implementation of the clinical quality.
- Assist the Project Director in assessing the performance of the project staff.
- Mentor Clinic Manager in organizing CQC meeting with the clinic staff, review clinical quality performance of each staff, identify cause of poor quality performance, if any, and provide feedback to solve those problems.
- Assist the Project Director in recruitment of qualified staff in vacant position of clinical service provider(s) as per budget provision and NHSDP guideline.
- Must oblige by MCP, TIAHRT, PLGHA, waste disposal management, environmental compliances and Helms policy and maintain it strictly, must oblige by MCP, TIAHRT and Helms policy and maintain
- Programmatic:
- Spend minimum one third of working time in field monitoring the implementation status of clinical quality
- Visit satellite clinics during clinic visits, check if satellite clinics are organized as per schedule and guideline
- Check if services are recorded correctly in the appropriate forms/register/prescriptions etc.
- Check IEC/Job Aids/ Infection prevention/ TIAHRT banner/ MCP tools are properly placed and properly used.
- Supervising and Monitoring:
- Spend minimum one third of working time in the filed for clinic supervision of all staff and also to monitor the progress of project activities.
- Supervise Medical Officer and Paramedic's clinical services provision skill like consulting procedure (counseling, history taking, physical exam & prescribing) and also dispensing practice.
- Monitor of clinical supplies including supplies of RDF.
- Supervise different aspect of quality improvement system at clinic level.
- Training:
- Identify training need of the Clinic Staff and assist PD and Clinic Manager to ensure their training.
- Provide on the job training to Clinic Staff to up-grade their skill on different aspects and also ensure high quality services from Surjer Hashi Clinics' service delivery points.
- Logistics:
- Assist PD in obtaining regular supply of contraceptives from government and drugs from the selected pharmaceutical companies.
- Assist PD in obtaining regular supply of contraceptives from SMC and other commercial suppliers and ensure training of the staff /CSP on SMC and government products
- Coordination:
- Represent the project in different government and NGO forums in absence of PD or assigned by PD if required.
- Carry out other programmatic duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
- Medical Graduate (MBBS), Medical Graduate (MBBS) with MPH is highly preferred. Including 03-05 years' work experience with any development organization and implementation of project and management of staff is required. .
Job Requirements
- Demonstrate ability in facilitating clinical quality at field level.
- Leadership capability in planning and implementing standard clinical quality programs.
- Capability of supervising number of staff.
- Preparation of work plan and analysis of clinical quality indicators and service performance.
- Good English communication and presentation skills
- Excellent computer expertise in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Competencies:
- Self-motivated, time management skill, must possess the ability to work under pressure, sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical issues ability to present problem-solving/ analytical skills in clinic program, work independently with minimal supervision, should have good command in both written and spoken English.
